Jiu jitsu brasileño

El jiu-jitsu brasileño o Gracie jiu-jitsu, es un arte marcial desarrollado en Brasil por la familia Gracie, a mediados del siglo XX. El arte llega a Brasil con Mitsuyo Maeda, quien esperaba establecer una colonia o comunidad japonesa en aquel país. Su desarrollo posterior, a mediados del siglo XX, se debe a la familia Gracie. No debe confundirse al jiu-jitsu brasileño con el "vale tudo" (también de origen brasileño).
